887. Tongues

Good Ones

1. A Choice Tongue—Pro_10:20. The “just” (righteous) have such a tongue.

2. A Wise Tongue—Pro_15:2. He knows what to say and how to say it.

3. A Wholesome Tongue—Pro_15:4. Such a tongue is a minister of life.

4. A Kind Tongue—Pro_31:26. Kindness of tongue comes from heart kindness.

5. A Confessing Tongue—Php_2:11; Rom_14:11. To own Christ is to find One worth talking about, for He alone is worthy.

6. A Scriptural Tongue. “My tongue shall speak of Thy Word” (Psa_119:172).

7. A Taught Tongue—Isa_1:4, R.V. To be taught by God is to be able to teach others to their profit.
