899. “Treasuring Up”

1. Depositing in an Unbreakable Bank. “Lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven” (Mat_6:20).

2. Keeping the Lord’s Portion for Him. “Let every one lay by in store” (1Co_16:2; literally, “treasure up”).

3. A Parent’s Duty. “Children ought not to lay up for the parents,” etc. (2Co_12:14).
