901. Trembling People

1. A Haunted Patriarch. “Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake” (Job_4:14).

2. An Anxious Sinner. “Jailer came trembling… and said… What must I do to be saved?” (Act_16:29-30, etc.).

3. A Humble Suppliant. “Saul trembling… said, Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?” (Act_9:6).

4. A Conscious Believer. “The woman fearing and trembling,” etc. (Mar_5:33).

5. A Working Saint. “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Php_2:12).

6. A Weak Servant. “I was with you in… fear, and much trembling” (1Co_2:3).

7. An Awed Believer. “I will look to him that trembleth at My Word” (Isa_66:2).
