SIN AND GUILT.

The ancients used to make drinking-cups of the amethyst, supposing that they prevented drunkenness. But the blue "amethyst could not prevent the blues. The cup of sinful pleasure, no matter how beautiful, will not save from guilt and judgment. "Be sure your sin will find you out" (Num_32:23).
