957. What Is Heaven?

1. Love without passion, for we shall be “like Him” (1Jn_3:2).

2. Service without weariness, for “His servants shall serve Him” (Rev_22:3).

3. Holiness without alloy, for “His Name shall be on our foreheads” (Rev_22:4).

4. Blessing without curse, for there shall be “no more curse” (Rev_22:3).

5. Life without death, for there shall be “no more death” (Rev_21:4).

6. Joy without sorrow, for all tears will be “wiped away” (Rev_21:3).

7. Light without darkness, for there shall be “no night there” (Rev_22:5).

8. Glory without suffering, for there shall be “no more pain” (Rev_21:4).

9. Singing without crying, for there shall be “no more crying” (Rev_21:4).

10. Satisfaction without want, for “hunger and thirst” shall cease (Rev_7:16).

11. Rule without end, for we “shall reign for ever” (Rev_22:5).

12. Beauty without infirmity, for we shall be “without wrinkle” (Eph_5:27).

13. Living without sin, for we shall be “faultless” (Jud_1:24).

14. Company without absence, for we shall be “for ever with the Lord” (1Th_4:17).
