0983. FITTED FOR BOTH WORLDS.
FITTED FOR BOTH WORLDS.
There is a curious fish, says Agassiz, in his "Journey in Brazil," called "Anableps," which have four eyes; or, rather, eyes which are divided into an upper and lower half, by which they can see equally well in air or water. It is no difficulty for them to look into both worlds, when they have received by nature the capacity for it. All who have been born from above have received the capacity to see the kingdom of God; but this does not in any way unfit them for the duties of this lower world.
