TRANSFORMED.

Every plant and flower that has come into the hands of cultivation has been improved, beautified, and made more useful. Every soul that has come into the hands and under the skill of Jesus Christ has also been immensely improved, in that it has been beautified with the righteousness of God, transformed into His likeness, and made useful in His service and kingdom. As the plant does improve by being perfectly passive in the hands of the skilful gardener, so will the soul be wonderfully enlarged by being entirely submissive to the wise and tender treatment of Him who doeth all things well, and who is willing and able to make the most out of little things.
