The Indwelling Spirit

"In Whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through, the Spirit" (Eph_2:22).

What truth is more sublime–we are builded together for an habitation of God in the Spirit. Both Jew and Gentile, who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ, are made one new man. We are framed together, growing into an holy temple unto the Lord.

What is true of believers, as a whole, is also true of each one, individually. Every believer is indwelt of the Spirit. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" (1Co_3:16). "For ye are the temple of the Living God" (2Co_6:16).
