14 PRAY FOR POWER.
And now, I pray, let the power of my LORD be great, just as You have spoken.”
—Numbers 14:17
Confess. Praying for power begins with a confession.
Lord, I can’t but You can.
It’s not by personal might or power but by His Spirit that anything is accomplished in our lives (Zech. 4:6).
Repent. Praying for power involves repentance.
I repent of trying instead of trusting You, Lord.
Repent of trying to do it yourself. Repent of using power for your own purposes and promotion. Repent of depending on anything or anyone other than God.
Praise. Praying for power gives God the praise and the glory.
I praise you, Lord, for what You have done and will do through me.
Proclaim. Proclaim the name of the Lord over everyone and everything around you.
In Jesus’ name is all power and authority. Amen.
