Proofs of the Rapture

THE RAPTURE:

Proved by Plain, Scriptural Statements (Joh_14:3).

Proved by Typical Scenes (Heb_11:5).

Proved by Revelation Scenes (Rev_7:14-15).

Proved by the Oat-Resurrection (1Co_15:51-52).

Proved by Christ's Return with His Saints (Col_3:4).

Proved by the Saints Escaping Tribulation (1Th_5:9).

Proved by the Imminent Coming of Christ (Tit_2:13).

There has been much written along the line of the Rapture of the saints, but we know of few messages that have been prepared, particularly, to establish the fact that Christ will come, and receive His saints unto Himself.

We believe this proof includes not only the plain statements of Scripture, which will be set forth in our first division, but also other positive and practical proofs which may be introduced, circumstantially.

Doubtless all who study this lesson will understand the distinction between the Rapture of the saints, and the Revelation of Christ.

The Rapture has to do with the resurrection of the dead in Christ and with their being caught up together with the living in Christ to meet the Lord in the air.

The Revelation has to do with the return of Christ to the Mount of Olives, accompanied by the raptured saints.

It would be well in presenting this message to discuss the above facts.
