One in Teaching Saints

"All thy children shall be taught of the Lord" (Isa_54:13).

1. The Father Teaches Saints

"Ye yourselves are taught of God" (1Th_4:9).

Surely the Father would not permit His sons to be brought up in ignorance, either of Himself or His purposes and plans. The very Word of God, the Bible, is the message through which God would teach His sons.

There may be teachers many, and schools not a few, but there is but one Teacher, even God, Who can teach in the realm in which the Father teaches.

2. The Son Teaches Saints

"He went round about the villages, teaching" (Mar_6:6).

It was a beautiful sight to see Christ on the mountain-side with the disciples gathered around as He opened His mouth and taught them.

It was a beautiful sight to behold Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus and drinking in His Word.

No man ever taught as this One taught. He could say, "The words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life."

3. The Spirit Teaches Saints

"He shall teach you all things" (Joh_14:26).

Christ had many things to say to the disciples, but they were not yet prepared to receive His testimony in completion; therefore He told them that the Spirit would teach them when He came.

One thing we know, the message which the Spirit taught, is the same as the message which Christ taught, and the message of the Son was the message of the Father; all taught where and what man could not teach, therefore, Father, Son and Spirit in their teaching were three persons, constituting one God.
