28 WRITE DOWN GOD’S VISION FOR YOUR MARRIAGE

Your vision is bound by possibilities, time and space. But God’s vision for your marriage has eternal significance and can move you from the realm of possibilities into the real of impossibilities.

God’s presence gives you the perspective and vision to see the lasting impact everything in your marriage will possess. If whatever you do or say is birthed by God’s vision for your marriage, then you will be on-purpose and accomplishing that which lasts forever.

So what is God’s vision for both of you? The crucible of His vision for you both is rooted in Genesis 1:28, “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply.…” In your design and destiny, God envisioned that you would prosper and that your seed and seed’s seed would inherit both natural and spiritual blessings from you. So God’s vision goes far beyond just you. It’s about your seed and your seed’s seed.

God’s presence will give you the eyes to see beyond the present into your destiny as a couple. Your household will be saved and will become a blessing to others. Your future will be anchored in God’s power to enable you to flourish, multiply, walk in authority and take control of the circumstances around you.

Try this: Write down the vision God is birthing in your marriage. “Our future in God’s hand will bear fruit and multiply through.”
