45 PRAY FOR JERUSALEM’S PEACE.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.”

     —Psalm 122:6

The peace of Jerusalem may seem hopeless but consider this: Jerusalem will know peace when the Prince of Peace reigns there.

With the peace of Jerusalem comes the Messiah’s reign.

With the peace of Jerusalem comes healing and health.

With the peace of Jerusalem comes the cessation of war.

With the peace of Jerusalem comes the Kingdom of God. (Read Isaiah 11)

O God,

I pray for the peace of Jerusalem… For that day when the lion will lie down with the lamb, for that day when swords will be beaten into plowshares, for that day when the law of love will be written on every person’s heart, for that day when the Prince of Peace will sit upon His throne in Jerusalem. Amen.
