21 COME BOLDLY IN PRAYER.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
—Hebrews 4:16
Boldly isn’t arrogantly for our approach has nothing to do with our own merit (Eph. 2:8).
Boldly isn’t proudly for our coming isn’t of our own effort but through the shed blood of Jesus the Christ (Heb. 9).
Boldly is shamelessly. Christ hath borne our shame and washed away our sins (Isa. 53, 1 John 1).
Boldly is freely. We come without duty but in thanksgiving with a sacrifice of praise (Heb. 13:15).
Boldly is confidently. We have every confidence in the efficacy of Christ to accomplish more than we can every think or imagine (Eph. 3:20, Heb. 6:9).
Therefore, stop begging, cowering, sniveling, whining, stuttering, and crawling. Start praising, proclaiming, worshipping, celebrating and dancing in joy for what the Lord will accomplish through your coming in prayer into His presence.
