WE HAVE dedications. We dedicate children. We dedicate houses. People ask us to come and dedicate their house. People ask us to come and dedicate their businesses. If you want me or one of the staff to dedicate something of yours, the dedication will be meaningless without an equal commitment to obedience. All you did was have a religious exercise in “ecclesiastical pomposity” when you have dedication that does not include obedience.204
