A BOY was riding his bike around the block. Round and round he went, crying as he pedaled. A policeman saw the boy riding and crying and said, “Son, where are you going?” The boy replied, “I’m running away from home!” The policeman brought to the boy’s attention that he hadn’t even gone to the other side of the street. The boy cocked his head to the side, furrowed his brow, and smartly countered, “Yeah, I know I haven’t crossed the street. I can’t. My mama told me I couldn’t cross the street!”668
