WORSHIP,
CORPORATE
IT IS impossible to worship God privately and not want to worship Him corporately. It’s one thing to sit at home and watch a football game by yourself. It’s another thing to watch that same game with a roomful of people where everybody is shouting and getting excited together. The energy brought together by being with mutual fans is many times that of what it is when a person is alone at home, watching the same by themselves.
While you can listen to the Cowboys game in your car and enter into the experience of the game behind the wheel, there’s nothing like the feeling of being with a group of people who are worshipping simultaneously. Anybody who’s worshipping God privately will worship Him publicly.1063
