2Ti_1:8-10.

This is the testimony of a prisoner for Christ, of the great salvation.

1. It is "according to the Power of God" (2Ti_1:8).

2. It is "Given us in Christ Jesus."

3. It is "Not according to our works."

4. It is "According to His own purpose and grace."

5. It is "Now made manifest by the Appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ."

6. It implies the "Abolishing of death."

7. It assures "Life and Immortality."
