0897. BEAUTIFUL INDIFFERENCE.
BEAUTIFUL INDIFFERENCE.
When a man is callous and insensible he is said to be "marble-hearted." Yet everybody knows that marble can take on a most beautiful polish. It is possible to have a life highly polished, and to wear a great shine, and yet have a heart as dead and insensibile to the love of God as a bit of limestone. "With the heart, man believeth unto righteousness" (Rom_10:10).
