Some Things That Followed Saul’s Conversion–He Was Baptized

"And he received his sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized" (Act_9:18).

Baptism is not necessary to salvation, but it is necessary to obedience. Because "baptism" is considered by some a matter of quibble and dissension between denominations, affords no reason for believers to shun it.

The Bible clearly teaches that those who are saved, should follow Christ in this marvelously beautiful, emblematical ordinance.

Christ said, "Go * * disciple * * baptizing them." No one has a right to set aside God’s plain command.
