Psalms 101, through Psalms 105, are a part of the fourth Book of the Psalms. These Psalms distinctly set forth our Lord’s Kingdom and the beneficent conditions prevalent during His reign.
Psalms 101 is a call for Christ to come.
Psalms 102 presents first of all, the humiliation of Christ, and then His return to the earth, even to Zion, and the glory and praise which shall be His, upon His return.
Psalms 103 speaks of the wonderful blessings which the King brings to His people.
Psalms 104 describes the manifold glory of the King.
These Psalms, like many other Psalms, have a direct reference to David, and yet they more particularly speak of David’s greater Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Wonderful days lie ahead of this sin-stained earth. Wonderful days lie ahead of Israel. Jesus Christ will redeem the physical earth from its corruption, and He will save His people from their wanderings. He will come and take the Davidic throne, and His Kingdom shall be for ever and ever.
