Delivered from Foolish Transgressions (Psa_107:17-19).

Delivered from Raging Seas (Psa_107:29).

A Call to Praise (Psa_107:8, Psa_107:15,Psa_107:21).

The Cursing Turned to Blessing (Psa_107:35).

The Loving Kindness of Jehovah (Psa_107:42-43).

The 107th Psalm is the first Psalm in Book five, the Book which parallels Deuteronomy, the last Book of the Pentateuch. The Psalm recounts Israel’s praises to God for her deliverance.

First, from her wanderings in the wilderness.

Second, from those who rebelled against her.

Third, from those who in their folly, followed transgressions.

There are striking sentences and phrases which are carried throughout the whole Psalm. A key expression is, "Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!" A key word, is "deliver."
