Israel’s Millennial Rest–secured

"They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever" (Psa_125:1).

The mountains are no more stable upon their foundations than Israel will be stable in her God. For the Lord will encamp round His people, even about Jerusalem. "The rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous." God will do good to those who are good and upright in their hearts. When Israel turns from her wicked ways, the Lord will lead her forth from the clutches of those who work iniquity, and peace shall be upon Israel.

All those nations who came against Jerusalem will serve Jerusalem. Every sword and every spear will be beaten into plowshares and into pruning-hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.

God’s people, Israel, will rest securely. They will abide, every one, under their own vine and fig tree, and none shall make them afraid.
