Angels Descend with Christ to the Earth

"When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him" (Mat_25:31).

God has decreed that the angels who have served Him so gloriously, shall come with Christ as He descends in His glory. The holy angels will add honor to that hour. During the ages they have served the Lord; during the ages they have watched the unfolding of the plans of God,–now, they enter with Him into His reign.

We cannot know all that this may mean, but we know that angels of God shall ever serve their Lord and worship at His footstool. We, as risen and ransomed saints, one with the descending Lord, will be served by the angelic hosts. Not that glorified saints will at all lord it over God’s holy angels, but, rather, that we, loving them, and appreciative of their services in ages past, will, in Christ Jesus, find them ever ready to minister to those who serve and worship their God.
