Full Salvation Set Forth. (1) Salvation From Sin's Curse

"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree" (Gal_3:13).

"The wages of sin is death." "The wicked shall be cast into hell, and all nations that forget God." "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment."

Every unsaved man walks under a sentence of condemnation. The handwriting is on the wall; the sinner may feast but he is feasting under a curse. The sinner may die with a semblance of peace, but he will lift up his eyes in hell, and say, "I am tormented in these flames."

The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. When the lost has his eyes opened to his doom, he will become miserable indeed.

The work of Christ on the Cross was to take us out from under the curse. He became a curse for us. He was made sin for us. He suffered the penalty of our guilt.

The believer can say with gladness, Christ hath made me free from the terrors of death. He hath opened the prison bars and hath set me at liberty.

All the fear of the eternal woes which await the wicked is gone; the sting of death is also taken away.

What a blessed relief! Before us lies the bursting sunlight of immortality and life. Our destiny is "forever with the Lord."
