In the Realm of Daily Living (Act_26:22).

The record of Thomas is not one to be admired or followed. It is placed in the Word that we may behold the wreckage of unbelief.

It may on the surface seem but a passing consideration, that Thomas should have said, "Except I see * * I will not believe." But Thomas had seen many things. The first two divisions will show what these things were.

The third and fourth divisions will show the awful possibilities that lay in the words: "I will not believe."

What we all need to do is to examine deeply into our own hearts and see if there are any roots of this same sin of unbelief in us.

Christ could do no mighty works in Nazareth because of their unbelief. Faith is the measuring line of our achievements, unbelief is the hinderer of our accomplishments.

The 11th of Hebrews is a record of the deeds of faith. The 3d and 4th of Hebrews is the record of the defeats of unbelief.

Let us lay aside this sin of unbelief and walk and work in the full assurance of faith.
