God's Care for His Own

Psa_91:1-16

God Has Us in His Heart (Exo_28:29).

He Bears Us on His Shoulders (Luk_15:5).

He Helps Us with His Hand (Isa_41:10, Isa_41:13).

He Undergirds Us with His Arms (Deu_33:27).

He Guides Us with His Eye (Psa_32:8).

He Backs Us with His Power (Mat_28:18-19).

He Surrounds Us with His Care (Psa_34:7).

There are those who imagine that believers, when they are saved, are like so many sheep, or cattle, bought and then turned loose to graze. God does not leave His children to "hoe their own row," or "to paddle their own canoe." The believer who seeks to live out his Christian life apart from God's protective care and personal leadership, will soon disgrace his profession. There are many Scriptures which express to us God's care for His children. There is not a sparrow which falls to the ground "without your Father," and surely we are of much more value than many sparrows. When David found out that Mephibosheth was at Lo-debar, the place of no pasture, he sent for him and fetched him and restored to him his goods and then he gave him daily sustenance at the King's table. Our Lord saves us by His Blood, He also makes every provision for our safety and welfare, unto the end of our Christian journey.
