The Sadducees Deny the Indwelling Spirit

"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1Th_5:23, \1911 Bible).

The Sadducees Say There Is Neither Spirit nor Angel (See Act_23:8)

The inevitable result of the Sadducees' denial of the resurrection is their further denial of spirit or angel.

When Samson bowed himself mightily and the pillars of the great temple of the Philistines caved in, the whole superstructure fell.

With the denial of spirit or angel substantiated, the collapse of two of the main pillars in the temple of truth would be accomplished.

We wish, in this article, to show the wreckage that must follow this collapse–the wreckage which Sadduceeism entails.
