Cult Vs. Christ

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves" (Mat_23:15).

The great lack of the Phariseeism stands before us in bold relief. The Pharisees knew nothing of compassion, and nothing of heart fellowship with God.

They were consumed with their cult, but knew nothing of God's Christ.
