55. Believers Are Called

1. “Children” for kinship—1Jn_3:1-2, R.V.

2. “Saints” for holiness—1Co_1:2.

3. “Christians” for identification—Act_11:26.

4. “Brethren” for fellowship—Heb_2:11.

5. “Sheep” for character—Joh_10:3.

6. “Servants” for employment—Matt. xxv 14

7. “Friends” for companionship—Joh_15:15.

When we are called anything, we are supposed to be true to what we are called.
