169. Christ’s Lordship

There are three things embodied in the title of Lord—

1. His Ownership, hence “the earth is the Lord’s” (Psa_24:1).

2. His Authority, hence the Lord delivered to the servants the talents which they were responsible to use for Him—Mat_25:20-23.

3. His Power, hence when the Lord sent forth His servants “the Lord” was “working with them” (Mar_16:19-20).
