178. Christ’s Rebukes

1. A Delivering Lord. “Jesus rebuked him, saying… Come out of him” (Luk_4:35).

2. A Soothing Saviour. “He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her” (Luk_4:39).

3. A Silencing Christ. “He, rebuking them, suffered them not to speak” (Luk_4:41).

4. An Authoritative Subduer. “Rebuked the wind… and there was a calm” (Luk_8:24).

5. A Cleansing Jesus. “Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit” (Luk_9:42).

6. A Gracious Man. “He turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of” (Luk_9:55).

7. The Answering Redeemer. “Peter took Him, and began to rebuke Him… He rebuked Peter” (Mar_8:32-33).
