210. Christ, the Sight Giver

The opening of the eyes of the blind is typical of the opening of the eyes of our understanding—Act_26:18. The Lord causes us—

1. To see the evil in ourselves—Rom_7:23.

2. To see His worth and work—Heb_2:9.

3. To see the need of preparing for the future—Heb_11:7.

4. To see the meaning of spiritual things—1Co_2:9

5. To see the fulfilment of God’s promises—Heb_11:13.

6. To see the end of the Lord in discipline—Jas_5:11.

7. To see the beauty of Christ—1Pe_1:8.
