443. How to Help in the Lord’s Work

1. By the will of responsiveness to the Lord, as the workers in the Tabernacle—Exo_25:2.

2. By the voice of prayer, as Nehemiah and his helpers—Neh_4:9.

3. By the feet of alacrity, as Philip the evangelist, when he went to the eunuch—Act_8:30.

4. By the heart of love, as Paul did the saints at Philippi—Php_1:7, R.V.

5. By the tongue of kindness, as the apostle did the people on board ship—Act_27:34-36.

6. By the ear of deafness, in not listening to the slander of those who malign us—Mat_27:14.
