In the sphere of business, in the temple of worship, and in the home of industry, each is strengthened to do the work of the Lord; and the cause of all is because the Lord says, “I am with you.” He is with us—

1. As the Captain to lead—Jos_5:14.

2. As the Shepherd to tend—Psa_23:4.

3. As the Companion to cheer—Heb_13:5, Heb_13:6.

4. As the Guide to direct—Isa_30:21.

5. As the Power to keep—Isa_41:13.

6. As the Teacher to instruct—Luk_24:32.

7. As the Encourager to stimulate—Isa_41:10.
