453. “In the Mount”

1. A Substitute Provided. “In the mount it shall be provided” (Gen_22:14, R.V.).

2. A Pattern Given. “Make… after… pattern showed thee in the mount” (Exo_25:40; Exo_26:30; Exo_27:8; Heb_8:5).

3. A Meeting Place. “Met him in the mount of God” (Exo_4:27).

4. A Revelation Communicated. “Moses was in the mount” (Exo_24:18).

5. A Rebuked Servant. “Die in the mount… because ye trespassed,” etc. (Deu_32:50-51).

6. A Proclaimed Tomb. “Josiah… spied the sepulchres that were in the mount… which the man of God proclaimed” (2Ki_23:16-17).
