481. Jesus Found in Places

Our Lord is said to be “on” different places.

1. He sat “on the well” to meet a needy sinner (Joh_4:6).

2. He was placed “on the pinnacle of the temple” to be tempted (Mat_4:5).

3. He walked “on the sea” to succour His disciples (Joh_6:19).

4. He wrote “on the ground” with His finger to defeat His enemies (Joh_8:6).

5. He sat “on an ass’s colt” to fulfil the Scriptures (Joh_12:15).

6. He was “on the earth” to glorify God and finish His work (Joh_17:4).

7. He was “upon the Cross” in dying for the sins of others (Joh_19:31; 1Pe_2:24).

8. He is “on the right hand of the Father” in approval and blessing (Heb_1:3, Heb_1:13; Heb_8:1; Heb_10:12).
