490. Judgments Relating to Believers
1. God’s judgment upon us as sinners in Christ on the Cross. “By a sacrifice for sin (margin), condemned sin in the flesh” (Rom_8:3).
2. Believers’ judgment on himself. “If we would judge ourselves we shall not be judged” (1Co_11:31).
3. The Lord’s judgment of His children. “When we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord” (1Co_11:32).
4. The Church’s Judgment in Discipline. “Judged him that hath done this wrong” (1Co_5:3-5).
5. The Lord’s judgment of the “House” of Christendom. “Judgment must begin at the house of God” (1Pe_4:17).
