527. Look at the Past

It is a good thing for the believer to look at—

1. The pit from which he was digged—Isa_51:1.

2. The life from which he has been saved—1Co_6:11.

3. The sins from which he is delivered—Eph_2:1-3.

4. The master from whom he has been rescued—Rom_6:17.

5. The bondage which he has left—Gal_5:1.

6. The bitterness he has escaped—Exo_1:14; Exo_1:17. The far country of the past—Luk_15:24.
