539. “Love” in John 15

1. The Source of Love. “The Father hath loved” (Joh_15:9).

2. The Correspondence of Love. “As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you” (Joh_15:9).

3. The Continuance of Love. “Continue ye in My love” (Joh_15:9).

4. The Command of Love. “My” commandment, that ye love one another” (Joh_15:12, Joh_15:17).

5. The Example of Love. “As I have loved you” (Joh_15:12).

6. The Proof of Love. “If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and abide in His love” (Joh_15:10).
