645. Power

A sevenfold excellence of God’s power is seen in the following:

1. “Exceeding” in its Greatness (Eph_1:19).

2. “Mighty” in its Essence (Eph_1:19; Eph_6:10).

3. “Effectual” in its Working (Eph_1:20).

4. “Divine” in its Source (2Pe_1:3).

5. “Glorious” in its Achievement (Col_1:11).

6. Eclipsing in its “Excellence” (2Co_4:7).

7. “Spiritual” in its Nature (Rom_15:13, Rom_15:19).
