“Christ crucified… the power of God” 1Co_1:18, 1Co_1:23-24 As we look at the prism of the Cross, we see an eightfold glory of grace. In that Cross there is—

1. The Power to Reconcile to God—Eph_2:16.

2. The Power to Separate from the World—Gal_6:14.

3. The Power to Exalt to God’s Throne—Php_2:8.

4. The Power to Remove the Law’s Claim—Col_2:14.

5. The Power to Keep from the Flesh—Gal_5:24.

6. The Power to Put Off the Old Man of Habit—Rom_6:6.

7. The Power to Ignore the “I” of Self—Gal_2:20.

8. The Power to Inspire to Obedience—Gal_3:1.
