685. Rejoicing Persons

In the New Testament

1. Mary, the saved. “My spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour” (Luk_1:47).

2. Jesus, the Lord. “In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit” (Luk_10:21).

3. Eunuch, the believer. “He went on his way rejoicing” (Act_8:39).

4. Paul, the minister. “I rejoice;” “I rejoiced” (2Co_6:10; 2Co_7:7, 2Co_7:9, 2Co_7:16).

5. John, the appreciator. “I rejoiced greatly” (2Jn_1:4; 3Jn_1:3).

6. Jailer, the grateful. “He set before them and rejoiced” (Act_16:34).
