716. Satan’s Activities

1. He fights against the heavenly powers to hinder Christ’s rule, as described in Rev_12:3-10.

2. He places himself upon us when we “give place” to him by inconsistent conduct, as stated in Eph_4:27.

3. He blinds the minds of those who are in unbelief, that they may not see Christ, as revealed in 2Co_4:4.

4. He beguiles by his sophistries to rob us of blessing, as he did Eve—2Co_11:3.

5. He works in the children of disobedience, that he may wreck their career, as we read in Eph_2:2.

6. He hinders God’s servants in their work, as Paul experienced in his ministry—1Th_2:18.

7. He accuses the brethren to God, and does it night and day, that he may wound God by their inconsistencies, as is revealed in Revelations Rev_12:10.
