718. Scriptures

The Scriptures claim to be inspired, and prove the claim they make. They are—

1. God-breathed in substance—2Ti_3:16.

2. Unbreakable in nature—Joh_10:35.

3. Christ-revealing in contents—Joh_19:24, Joh_19:28, Joh_19:36-37; Luk_24:27, Luk_24:32).

4. Definite in message—1Co_15:3, 1Co_15:4.

5. Holy in character—2Ti_3:16.

6. Profitable in out-working—2Ti_3:16.

7. Divine in authorship—2Pe_1:19, 2Pe_1:20.
