732. Seek

1. Whom to seek. The Lord. “Seek ye the Lord” (Isa_55:6).

2. When to seek. “First” (Mat_6:33); “Early” (Psa_63:1); “Continually” (1Ch_16:11).

3. What to seek. “Peace” (Psa_34:14); God’s “Precepts” (Psa_119:45); “Good” (Amo_5:14); “Righteousness and Meekness” (Zep_2:3); “Things above” (Col_3:1).

4. How to seek. With a “prepared heart” (2Ch_19:3; 2Ch_30:19); with a prayerful spirit—Dan_9:3; Mat_7:7.

5. Why we should seek. Because we “shall not want” (Psa_34:10).
