0772. 754. “Shall See”

754. “Shall See”

1. Purity of Promise. “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God” (Mat_5:8). Purity within is essential to vision without.

2. Sin and Salvation. “All flesh shall see the salvation of the Lord” (Luk_3:6). A consciousness of sin will make us appreciate the call of the Saviour.

3. Opened Heaven and an Open Way. “Hereafter (from henceforth) ye shall see Heaven opened” (Joh_1:51). Christ by His Blood has opened Heaven, and brings Heaven down to us in its supply.

4. Spirit and Sight. “Shall see visions” (Act_2:17) is one of the outcomes of the Spirit’s ministry. We need the vision to fill our vocation.

5. Promise and Prospect. “We shall see Him… and be like Him” (1Jn_3:2). The promise is we “shall see Him,” and the prospect is “we shall be like Him.”

6. Seed and Satisfaction. “He shall see His seed… He shall see of the travail of His soul and be satisfied” (Isa_53:10-11). He died to have us, and it was for us He died.

7. Person and Partnership. “A little while and ye shall see Me” (Joh_16:16-17, Joh_16:19, Joh_16:22). We shall share what He has gone to prepare, when He comes back.
