840. The Personnel of Psalms 63

1. Relationship. “My God.”

2. Desire. “My soul thirsteth for Thee.”

3. Praise. “My lips shall praise Thee.”

4. Confidence. “I will lift up my hands in Thy Name.”

5. Satisfaction. “My soul shall be satisfied.”

6. Joy. “My mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips.”

7. Remembrance. “When I remember Thee upon my bed.”

8. Help. “Thou hast been my help.”

9. Following. “My soul followeth hard after Thee.” Ponder not only the “My’s,” but the “I’s” and the “Me’s,” and also note the Psalm describes the experiences of David when in the wilderness.
