908. Truths Associated with Singing

1. Consecration. “Offered the burnt offering… with singing” (2Ch_23:18).

2. Dedication. “Dedication of the wall… with singing” (Neh_12:27).

3. Emancipation. “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing” (Psa_126:2).

4. Satisfaction. “Rest in His love, shall joy over thee with singing” (Zep_3:17).

5. Compensation. “Weeping may endure for a night, but singing (margin) cometh in the morning” (Psa_30:5; Psa_126:5, margin).
