951. What Believers Are “Made”

The Greek word rendered “made” and “become” means to bring into existence, to become, or for anything to come to pass.

1. Relationship. “Power to become the children of God” (Joh_1:12, R.V.).

2. Righteousness. “Made the righteousness of God in Him” (2Co_5:21).

3. Nearness. “Made nigh by the Blood of Christ” (Eph_2:13).

4. Service. “Made a minister” (Eph_3:7).

5. Union. “Made partakers of Christ” (Heb_3:14).

6. Partnership. “By these ye might be (made) partakers,” etc. (2Pe_1:4).

7. Outlook. “All things are become new” (2Co_5:17).

The same word is rendered “is done” in Rev_21:6. All the above are “done.”
